Need help? Health Foundation helps provide treatment resources to people seeking to recover from addictions.

You can apply for:

Social Determinants of Health Support. This could be something you need to succeed on a treatment plan that you can’t accomplish due to a financial barrier. People seeking this need to be actively engaged in treatment and/or recovery, and a letter of support from a peer recovery coach, counselor, or addiction medicine practitioner is required.

Examples:

  • A bug bomb for your apartment so you and your kids sleep better.

  • Fee for Department of Motor Vehicles so you can get car tags

  • Walking shoes so you can start taking care of your physical health.

  • Funding to cover needed medications or other medical services until insurance starts.

90 Days of Recovery Coaching. Recovery coaching and peer support can be life changing. People seeking this care need to also be receiving regular outpatient care from an addictions care provider (i.e. counseling, MAT). A letter of support from a counselor or addiction medicine practitioner is required.

90 days of Mental Health Medical Home services. Don’t have insurance but live in NC or NJ and really want to get interdisciplinary care for your mental health and addictions? This treatment option provides up to $4500 worth of outpatient addictions and mental health care (up to 8 hours a week) for a 3 month time period.

Please know that these scholarships are competitive due to limited funds. However, all applications will be reviewed and considered.
